Closantel sodium is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic, which has a good effect on a variety of trematodes, nematodes and arthropod larvae. Its anti-fluke repellent activity is mainly against Fasciola hepatica, and its larval repellent activity against arthropods is mainly aimed at all kinds of worms that suck blood or plasma.
This product is widely used in various infections of the above-mentioned parasitic diseases in cattle and sheep. It can be administered orally or parenterally (subcutaneously and intramuscularly), and it has both therapeutic and preventive effects.
