Ergothioneine is a naturally occurring amino acid derivative containing sulfur. It is synthesized primarily by certain fungi and mycobacteria, and is accumulated in plants through root uptake. In humans, ergothioneine is obtained exclusively through diet, with mushrooms being the richest natural source. Unlike many other antioxidants, ergothioneine has its own specific transporter (OCTN1) in the human body, allowing it to be actively taken up into cells and concentrated in tissues most susceptible to oxidative stress, such as the liver, kidneys, eyes, and skin.
Ergothioneine is recognized as a potent and stable antioxidant with unique properties. It exhibits strong free radical scavenging activity, protects mitochondria from oxidative damage, and has been shown to extend cellular healthspan in preclinical studies. Unlike glutathione, ergothioneine does not readily autoxidize and remains stable under physiological conditions, providing sustained protection.
Our premium Ergothioneine is produced via advanced microbial fermentation using genetically optimized mushroom or bacterial strains. This natural fermentation process yields L Ergothioneine, the only form that is biologically active and identical to the compound found in nature. Chemical synthesis can produce D Ergothioneine, which is not recognized by the OCTN1 transporter and lacks biological activity. Therefore, our fermentation derived L Ergothioneine offers superior bioavailability and efficacy.

QQ1: What is your standard delivery time?
A: Good question! Think of it as two parts — our production time + shipping time.
• Production: In stock → 3–7 business days. Need production → about 10–15 days.
• Shipping: Express (DHL etc.) 3–7 days, air freight 5–10 days, sea freight 20–40 days — depends on carrier and customs.
Total = production + shipping. Need it urgently? Just tell us — we'll check if we can rush it for you.
QQ2: Can you provide samples?
A: Of course! We usually offer 5–20g samples. Small fee for samples — but that fee gets deducted from your first bulk order. You can also buy a tiny trial amount (like 100g). Just ping us for sample details.
QQ3: What is your MOQ?
A: Normally 1kg. But if you need a smaller amount (e.g., 100g) as a sample or trial, no problem at all — we just ask for 100% upfront payment. We're flexible like that.
QQ4: Do you offer OEM or custom packaging / labeling?
A: Yes, we do! Want your own brand on the package? No problem. We can do custom labels, packaging sizes, even private labeling. Just tell us what you have in mind, and we'll make it happen.
QQ5: What's the shelf life? How should I store the products?
A: Great question! Most of our products have a shelf life of 2 years when stored properly. Keep them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Some sensitive ones prefer the fridge — we'll let you know on the COA. Treat them well, and they'll behave.
QQ6: What certificates do you have? (ISO, Kosher, Halal, Organic, etc.)
A: We've got a nice collection! We have ISO, Kosher, Halal, and some organic certificates for certain products. Not every product has all of them, so just ask us for the one you need. We'll show you what we've got.
