Fibronectin (FN) is mainly a type of non-collagen glycoprotein. Because of its wide range of existence, it is often produced as a biochemical reagent for the production of new drugs. In addition, FN can also be used in the diagnosis and treatment of many types of diseases, among which the most significant effect is in the repair and regeneration treatment of peripheral nerve injuries. FN has a molecular weight of 450000kD and exists in two forms in the body. Soluble FN exists as dimers in plasma and other body fluids, while insoluble FN exists as dimers and multimers on the cell surface.
